If you wish to become a Social Worker you will need to have completed a Social Work Degree – either a BA (Hons) in Social Work or an MA in Social Work if you already have a degree.
There are several options on where and how to study for your degree. You can choose to study part-time or full-time for your degree at a number of Higher Education Institutions (HEI’s) within East Anglia. Please visit their websites for full details of what courses they offer and any bursaries that you may be entitled to, to support you with your studies. Please note that ECC does not have any preference over any of these HEI’s, we are just making you aware of them as a route to obtaining your degree.
With both the BA and MA you will complete 2 x 100 days practice placements, which will be arranged via your HEI.
