Meet our people

Essex’s close proximity to London and Stansted airport is a big draw for Denise, especially because it makes short trips to Europe so easy!

She also picks up on the subtle differences in legislation and procedures that she’s had to learn about and how that extra knowledge has benefited her career.

Denise has found living and working in Essex to be a stimulating experience and talks proudly about the accommodation service she helped set up for children leaving care.

All in all, she’s thoroughly enjoyed her time working for Essex County Council and just wishes she’d come here earlier in her career!
