Meet our people

Anita has been in the UK for 12 years and has worked at Essex County Council all that time.

She believes Essex’s location (close to London but still with one foot in the countryside) is a big reason for her staying so long.

Another is the emphasis placed on personal development and Anita has been able to learn new skills and progress throughout her time at the council.

She talks enthusiastically about working and experiencing life in another country.

And is grateful that’s she’s been able to do it with an organisation that’s committed to helping her become the best social worker she can be.
