Team Manager
Salary to £42,000 + benefits
Managing a team of social workers, you’ll enjoy the scope to focus exclusively on ensuring your team delivers the highest standards of social care practice. Giving them the best possible support, guidance and mentoring, you’ll have the chance to develop your career through management development, action learning and creative development opportunities.
You’ll provide expert professional judgment and will be accountable for decision making in managing risk to children, families and the community. This will involve building and maintaining effective working partnerships with a variety of agencies in the private, voluntary and community sectors.
Naturally, you’ll need a working knowledge and experience of children’s services operational planning and service delivery. You’ll be a GSCC registered social worker with a DIPSW or relevant degree, and a PQ Childcare Award or equivalent experience.
