If we're to deliver a more personalised approach to adult social care, we need to make sure we're offering our users a level of service that's second to none. And that's exactly what you'll help us provide in this key support role.

Dealing directly with users, their carers and their families, you'll take telephone calls and respond to a wide range of correspondence. That variety is one of the main reasons why our administrators love what they do. But that's not their only responsibility. They also type up reports, help with presentations and maintain confidential records (both manual and electronic). That support frees up our managers and their teams to do what they do best: empower users to improve their quality of life and function as independently as possible.

Some experience in a customer-focused environment would be an advantage. But most importantly you'll need a good level of education (including GCSE English and Mathematics, grade A-C) and a working knowledge of computer programmes such as Word, Excel and Access.
